Behind its very historical and cliché Parisian architecture, Champs Élysées Avenue has become a massive incarnation of contemporary capitalism. Roaming through its 2km stroll will lead you essentially to big chain of retail stores and fastfood, high end luxury stores, shops for tourists, headquarters of multinational companies, luxury cars renters, blockbusters cinema, strip clubs, and many flagships/showrooms of international brands. Everyday come not less than 300000 tourists, business men, daily workers, clubbers, shoppers or simple strollers. As i used to work nearby, i started taking picture of this very eclectic crowd.
The project is divided into 3 parts : the first one that shows people in the street, the second one that shows tourists getting off coaches, and a third one compelling body position of photographers.
